5 calls aday never leave message

do not call my phone agin

Received a call at my place of employment - it is a municipality and the Supervisor's Secretary told her not to call. I have no idea who this is.

Caller said his name was Steve Betten from Ascetic? Acceptance Corp. I explained to him how many times in the last 4 years they had called my number asking for Sean R Frazier ( who I've never heard of and have told them that a number of times - it does no good - they keep calling.

This outfit has called us FOUR times within two hours today. I guess times must be tough. Looking for Purina handouts. Go eat yer dog food, spammers. Obviously a scam of some sort related to having a web site on the Internet.

so far today, I received a phonecall from this number. First call, they hung up when I answered (in the morning), and they called back about 4 pm. I did NOT answer the 2nd time, and they did NOT leave a message on my answering machine. We are on the national no-call list. WHY are we receiving these annoying calls?

RECEVIED 1 VOICE MAIL/CALL AT WORK TODAY. AND ANOTHER 4 CALLS AND 1 VOICE MAIL ON MY CELL PHONE ALL WITHIN MINUTES OF EACH OTHER. THIS WILLIAM SMITH PERSON SAYS THERE IS A CASE AGAINST ME AND THAT I NEED TO RETAIN AN ATTORNEY AND CAN ONLY WISH ME LUCK. YOU CAN TELL HE IS READING FROM A SCRIPT AND YOU CAN HEAR OTHER PEOPLE IN THE BACK ROUND. THIS IS A SCAM, ONCE YOU TELL THEM NOT TO CALL AND INFORM THEM THAT YOU KNOW THEY ARE TRYING TO SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY, THEY WILL STOP CALLING - WELL AT LEAST FOR A WHILE.

9 calls today from this number. Option 1 states due to heavy volume they are unable to accept the call and try another option. Option 2 is to have your number removed but all I get is dead air space.

I just talked to a Comcast supervisor about this phone hacking problem. He said it is "spoofing" where geeks phish phone numbers and have a computer calling automatically and when they get a hit (someone answers phone) they put it on a list that they sell to telemarketers, etc. I'm not sure this situation is quite that simple. It seems to be more intricate. He said he's seen a lot but never anything quite like this situation. I was given a new and unlisted phone number which he said is about the only way to stop it. I'm also talking to their legal department and with the Attorney General. This, as I have said, is the dark side of the Internet and the problem with putting your information out there.

called my "unlisted" "Caller Block" cell phone. Called back, got recording that I was put on a "Do not call list" W.T.F.!!!!!

Ed Williams the Scammer. Wish to terminate this caller for good. Could be a recording setup.

this caller keeps calling.the measage they leave starts in the middle because they dont wait for the beep before recording,must be a computer.tryied calling back and no one answeres.who the hell is this?

Asked my wife for me, so has some info on who owns the phone.

Called and asked for someone that didnt own phone
